I applied three years worth of updates to WordPress and it promptly ate itself. Worse still, while trying to figure out what had gone wrong I managed to kill its database (no, I don’t know how I did it – I must have a special talent).
Trying to see this problem as an opportunity in disguise, I’ve wiped everything and reinstalled from scratch. Hopefully this time I can do a better job.
